FROLIC: Social Gatherings

FROLIC (Front Range Objectivist Laughter Ideas and Chow) organizes fun social gatherings for FRO. All friendly people with a serious interest in or honest curiosity about Ayn Rand's philosophy are welcome, regardless of their level of knowledge.

FROLIC's primary event is its monthly Sunday Dinner. That occurs on the third Sunday of every month at an inexpensive Denver-area restaurant from 5:00 to about 7:00 pm. About 16 people generally attend these dinners each month. Attending a FROLIC Sunday Dinner is an excellent way to see what FRO is like and to meet FRO members.

Other outings are scheduled by FROLIC Manager Kelly Valenzuela according to wishes of people active in FRO. If you would like to propose an outing, please contact Kelly at kelly@frontrangeobjectivism.com.

Join the FROLIC List

Join the FROLIC e-mail list on Google Groups to receive announcements of FROLIC Sunday Dinners and other FRO social gatherings. You will receive a few e-mails per month, at most.

You can subscribe to the list (or manage your subscription) via this web form. To do so, you must be logged in to your Google Account. (If you don't have a Google Account, you can create create an account for free.) Click here for information on managing your FRO subscriptions on Google Groups. FROLIC announcements are usually sent through Evite in order to make accurate reservations with the venue.

Please note that if you subscribe to the FROLIC list, you must also subscribe to the FROST list. (The FROST e-mail list is the main announcement list for Front Range Objectivism.)

Standards of Conduct

Every person at FROLIC events is expected to be respectful and considerate of others. Every person must pay his/her own way when payment is due. If an RSVP is required, please be sure to provide it in the requisite time. (You need only RSVP if you plan to attend.)

At the FROLIC Sunday Dinner, each person must pay for his own food and drinks, plus tax and at least 15% tip. Please do not request a separate check, and please bring cash for your meal. In general, serving large groups is difficult, so we must make an extra effort to make ourselves welcome in the restaurants frequented by FROLIC.

People who fail to adhere to these basic standards of conduct will be removed from the group.
